Role Overview :
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the leadership team responsible for driving the institution's financial strategy, governance, and long-term financial sustainability. The role oversees financial planning, budgeting, accounting, treasury, taxation, audit, compliance, ERP, and risk management while partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and institutional growth.
Key Responsibility:
Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with institutional goals.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Support management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
Financial Operations & Reporting
Oversee accounting, financial reporting, MIS, cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
Present financial performance reports to the Management and Governing Body.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, UGC, AICTE, State Government, and other statutory regulations.
Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
Audit & Risk Management
Lead statutory, internal, tax, and government audits.
Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Grants, Funding & Cost Management
Oversee government grants, institutional funding, and utilization compliance.
Drive cost optimization and improve financial efficiency across the institution.
ERP & Process Improvement
Lead finance process automation and ERP optimization.
Develop SOPs and improve reporting systems.
Leadership
Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
Build strong relationships with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Qualification &
Education:
Mandatory Chartered Accountant (CA) – ICAI
15-20 years of Finance & Accounts experience with at least 8–10 years in a senior finance leadership role.
Experience in Higher Education, Universities, Educational Institutions, Trusts, or Societies is highly preferred.
Strong exposure to financial strategy, budgeting, treasury, taxation, audit, ERP, and statutory compliance.
