As a Heavy-Duty Mechanic reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will utilize your Red Seal certification and a minimum of five years of hands-on experience with mining equipment. Your tasks will include inspecting and adjusting equipment, conducting repairs, and maintaining a culture of safety. You’ll also document technical performance and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently

• Repair and replace defective mining components

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain detailed records of repairs and safety checks

• Ensure safe operations through effective risk assessments

Requirements:

• Must have Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification

• At least 5 years of relevant repair experience

• Excellent understanding of hydraulic systems

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Must hold a valid driver’s license
