Electrical Maintenance A (Competition #: NLH-RE-25-175) – Permanent – Locations:
Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik, Rigolet, Mary’s Harbour, L’Anse au Loup.

Hybrid or remote arrangements are offered based on the nature of work and assessment of factors. Work may involve heights up to 130m and confined spaces.

Performs electrical maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of terminal station, hydraulic, and thermal plant equipment; performs switching and isolation of high‑voltage electrical equipment; may work at heights, confined spaces; responsible for personal safety and safety of coworkers and environmental responsibilities.

High‑school graduation supplemented by journeyperson certification as an industrial electrician (preferably via apprenticeship) and one year of experience, or completion of Hydro Group apprenticeship program; thorough knowledge of regulations and safety rules; valid driver’s license; completion of WHIMS, Emergency First Aid, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Environmental Awareness, Confined Space Entry, and Fall Arrest training is an asset.
