Position: Maintenance Worker at City of Boise Farm

Job Title

Gain hands-on, journey-level experience working at a large-scale, 4,225-acre agricultural operation at our Twenty mile South Farm in Kuna supporting a vital biosolids application program.

This role involves a variety of outdoor, semi-skilled work including field preparation, planting, irrigating, cultivating, and harvesting crops. You'll operate a wide range of modern farm equipment and learn from experienced professionals through direct, on-site supervision - making this a great opportunity to build practical skills in commercial agriculture and land management.

Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience working in an agricultural setting, including experience operating heavy equipment such as tractors, front-end loaders or harvesters and maintaining large irrigation systems, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Licensing And Other Requirements

Valid state-issued driver's license.

Special Requirements

Applicants must be able to pass:
City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation
