Job Summary
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and systems. This role ensures data integrity and supports administrative and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities- Enter and update data into internal systems with high accuracy.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
- Generate reports and retrieve data as requested.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to data management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good typing speed, typically 40 WPM.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of data protection and confidentiality practices.
- Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
