Senior Finance Manager

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager for a leading Food and Beverage company based in Kuwait.

The role will be responsible for managing the Finance function, ensuring robust financial planning, reporting, control and compliance to drive sustainable business growth and profitability.

This role will serve as a strategic business partner to senior management, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making across operations in Kuwait and KSA.

• Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage the annual budgeting, forecasts and business planning process to support business decision-making.

• Monitor financial performance and provide insights on key business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities for management decision making.
• Conduct financial analysis and business case evaluations for new projects, investments, and expansion initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and enhance operational performance.

• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
• Implement effective cash management policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial policies.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, internal audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Lead risk assessments and implement corrective actions where necessary.

• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team to build capability, accountability, and high performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA are preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the food and beverage, hospitality or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
