We are partnering, on a retained and confidential basis, with one of the region's most established investment houses on the appointment of a Directo:

Equity Capital Markets, based in Kuwait City.

This is a rare, senior mandate with a market leader. The firm is the investment arm of one of the world's largest Islamic banking groups, and was recently named Best Investment Bank in the Middle East and Best Debt Capital Markets Bank in the Middle East. It runs a fully integrated capital markets platform across ECM and DCM, backed by 140+ investment professionals, multi-billion-dollar assets under management, and a track record of tens of billions of dollars in executed transactions across IPOs, share issues, M&A, restructuring and sukuk.

You will lead the origination, structuring and execution of equity capital markets transactions
-IPOs, share issues, accelerated bookbuilds, rights issues and related advisory - for a high-profile client base spanning corporates, family institutions and government entities across the GCC.

• Own end-to-end delivery of ECM mandates, from pitch and origination through structuring, execution and closing
• Lead IPO advisory and equity issuance processes, coordinating internal teams, clients, regulators and syndicate partners
• Build and deepen relationships with issuers, sponsors and institutional investors across the Gulf
• Provide senior-level strategic guidance and shareholder advisory to a demanding, high-net-worth and corporate clientele
• Mentor and develop junior bankers and strengthen the firm's regional ECM franchise

• 10+ years of investment banking / ECM experience at a leading advisory house, bank or independent advisor
• A demonstrable ECM execution track record: IPOs, accelerated bookbuilds, rights issues, capital increases
• Gulf market experience is essential - Saudi Arabia and Kuwait exposure is strongly preferred
• Strong grounding in corporate finance across geographies and products (equity advisory, public M&A, shareholder advisory)
• Command of the technical toolkit and excellent stakeholder management
• Degree in finance, economics or a related field; fluency in English (Arabic an advantage)
