Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic business partner to the CFO, CEO, and Business Unit Heads, driving financial insight and enabling data-driven decision-making. This role goes beyond traditional FP&A by providing advanced financial analysis, visualization, and storytelling to influence strategy, optimize performance, and ensure sustainable growth.

• Act as a trusted advisor to Business Unit Heads and senior leadership, providing financial insights that shape operational and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Lead negotiations and discussions during budget reviews, ensuring alignment between corporate targets and business unit plans.

• Drive the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Develop rolling forecasts and scenario planning models to anticipate market changes and business risks.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to validate assumptions and challenge business cases.

• Perform deep-dive analysis on revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability drivers.
• Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimization.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Conduct feasibility studies and opportunity assessments to evaluate new business initiatives, cost-saving measures, and investment decisions, delivering clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.

• Transform complex financial data into clear, compelling dashboards and presentations for the CEO and leadership team.
• Use visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to highlight key insights and trends.
• Craft narratives that connect financial performance to strategic objectives, enabling informed decision-making.

• Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reviews to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Track KPIs across business units and ensure accountability for financial targets.
• Support the CFO in preparing board-level reports and investor presentations.

• Monitor liquidity and working capital requirements to support business continuity.
• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and provide ROI analysis for investment decisions.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, providing accurate and timely information.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting. CFA preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in financial planning and analysis, preferably in FMCG or food distribution.
