Through syndicate lead and SPV models, deal facilitation, and scout and advisory services, the firm provides rigorous due diligence, strategic guidance, and investor-startup connections to drive growth and returns worldwide.

Role Description The Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist will work on-site in Kuwait City in a full-time capacity, supporting the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across Sagest Capital’s target markets. This role involves conducting market and financial analysis, performing detailed due diligence on target companies, and preparing valuation models and investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders. The specialist will collaborate closely with senior leadership to support negotiations, structure deals, and participate in managing SPVs and transaction workflows.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating with advisors and counter parties, tracking deal pipelines, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to strategic recommendations for buyouts, growth investments, and exits.

Qualifications

  • Low-Mid market buyouts expertise (fully acquiring or majority deals) in Kuwait.
  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex financial and market data to support investment decisions.
  • Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills, including experience with valuation, capital structures, and portfolio considerations.
  • Candidates should possess rigorous Due Diligence capabilities, with experience assessing commercial, operational, legal, and financial risks.
  • Candidates should possess fundamental Accounting knowledge to analyze financial statements and evaluate company performance.
  • Relevant experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development, ideally with exposure to international markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working on-site in Kuwait City and engaging with regional and global partners.
