Senior Financial Analyst

Undertake all responsibilities appropriate to level of experience for activities within budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes. Responsible for financial reporting and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. Support work process simplifications and system enhancements initiatives to boost the efficiency of the team.

• Preparing financial reports and presenting findings to senior management.
• Analyzing financial statements and identifying trends to provide insights to business performance.
• Developing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the company.
• Providing financial guidance to senior management on business strategy and financial implications.
• Reviewing financial data and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data is integrated and consistent.
• Participating in the development of financial policies and procedures.
• Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
• Developing financial projections and building financial models.
• Performing research and analysis as required.
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
• Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
• Prepares and delivers comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
• Supporting accounting team as needed on reporting, audit activities and projects.
• Conduct financial planning analysis and reports in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the executive team and the CFO on long-term financial planning
• Prepare cost projections.
• To identify risks and opportunities relating to sales, margin, costs, and stock as appropriate
• Performing ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience in the restaurant business/FMCG preferred.
