- Actuarial Valuation Unit
Key Responsibilities-
- IFRS 17 related activities (e.g. actuarial calculations review the implementation guidelines, PAA eligibility testing, OCT, RA calculation, etc.)
- Working on Reconciling data if needed
- Interact with the group in reserving valuation and reviewing/updating IFRS 17 policy decisions and related assumptions and methodologies
- Reserving calculation and reviews of Appointed Actuary
- Working on and understanding different LOBs including Life, Medical and P&C.
- Working with finance to discuss and analyze financial results
- Working with multiple sources of data to identify and utilize most relevant source to complete task.
- Ensure overall data integrity. Draw together facts and input from a variety of sources; make recommendations to management and related departments.
- Support the senior management and the decision-making process with Reserves, Reinsurance and IFRS 17 policies of the company and its subsidiaries
- Creates reports on company performance for management.
- Participate in both formal and informal training sessions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science.
- 1-3 years of experience in actuarial field.
- Commitment toward completion Actuarial Examination Program, which includes progress toward the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation/IFoA.
- Experience with RAFM, Resq, PowerBI is a plus.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Practical experience in IFRS 17 implementation
