Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Kuwait

Industry: Specialty Chemicals, Distribution & Trading

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business and investment objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and financial reporting activities.
• Oversee investment accounting, portfolio valuations, and performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, corporate governance, and internal control frameworks.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships, including banks, auditors, regulators, investors, and board members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA and/or professional certifications (CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA, CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
• Strong background in venture capital, private equity, investment management, or financial services.
• Expertise in financial reporting, investment valuation, treasury, corporate finance, and risk management.
• Proven track record of supporting investment transactions, due diligence, fundraising initiatives, and exit strategies.
