• Previous professional experience as a Steward Supervisor, Kitchen Steward Supervisor, Stewarding Supervisor, or in a similar position.
• Experience working in a professional restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen environment.
• Experience supervising and coordinating a stewarding team.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen cleaning, sanitation, dishwashing, and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to organize daily stewarding operations and assign tasks effectively.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train, support, and motivate stewarding team members.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Assign cleaning and dishwashing duties according to operational requirements.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Train and guide stewarding staff on cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Monitor the condition and availability of kitchen equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, Restaurant Manager, and other departments.
• Ensure proper waste management and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support the team during busy service periods and ensure efficient stewarding operations.
• Report maintenance, equipment, or supply issues to management.
