The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory, procurement, storage, and distribution of parts to ensure the efficient operation of service and repair activities. This role ensures the availability of the right parts at the right time, maintains optimal inventory levels, manages supplier relationships, and leads the parts department to achieve operational and customer service excellence. Manage the daily operations of the parts department, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of parts.

Skills
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure the timely availability of parts to support service, maintenance, and repair operations.
  • Monitor parts usage trends and forecast demand to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, including negotiating pricing and delivery terms.
  • Train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate parts department personnel.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to inventory performance, parts sales, stock turnover, and departmental KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with service and sales teams to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage departmental budgets and identify opportunities for cost control and process improvement.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in parts management, inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive, mechanical, industrial, or equipment parts, depending on the industry.
  • Experience using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
