Responsibilities
- Work closely with medical provider and perform nursing assessments
- Provide general nursing care, counselling and teaching to patients
- Triage test results for provider review and appropriate follow up
- Contact patients with results and follow up
- Responsible for review of pap smear results, entering data for result recall, and ensuring that abnormal results are efficiently processed and followed up on
- Send prescriptions and refills to pharmacies as directed by the physician
- Provide patient education and instruction
