Job Title:
Inflammatory Bowel Disease Specialized Nurse

- 100% of biologic and immunosuppressant therapies monitored per protocol
- Seamless coordination across pre- and post-procedure care
- Active contribution to program KPI tracking, audits, and quality initiatives
- >90% of discharge plans reflect patient and caregiver needs
- Patient Assessment:
Assess patients, monitor disease activity, and develop individualized care plans. - IBD Management:
Administer and monitor biologic therapies, manage flare-ups, and support patients throughout remission. - Patient
Education:
Educate patients on treatment, self-management, and lifestyle modifications. - Care Coordination:
Partner with gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless care. - Documentation & Quality:
Maintain accurate documentation while upholding quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Improved patient outcomes and reduced IBD flare-ups
- High treatment adherence and safe biologic management
- Timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
- Strong patient engagement and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Consistent quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's Degree qualification per Kuwait MOH licensing requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in GIT/Digestive Health, as per MOH eligibility criteria
- Valid BLS certification; ACLS as applicable
- Strong clinical assessment, medication management, and patient education skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural hospital environment
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
