The main objective of Marketplace Business Development Executive is to identify and exploit new and existing business opportunities for Fashion Division. This means several things, in terms of what you'll do:
First,you'll need to make sure you understand what Marketplace is and how it works.
Second, you'll need to research, identify, engage, and sign up new Marketplace sellers per marketplace key categories, those include both small merchants as well as power retailers / brands.
Next, as a business development, you'll need to think creatively about everything you know about This is the part of the job in which you identify possible ways to improve the company's seller base and selection, which can mean identifying anything from new category segments (or individual potential sellers).
• Identifies opportunities by researching internet, directory, industry and related events, publications, Linkedin, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; handing off relationship to operations.
• Protects organization's value by keeping proprietary information confidential.
