Fitter, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Fitter vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait. This position offers a salary of 1300 and is open to foreign applicants.

• Assemble, install, test, maintain and repair mechanical components and systems in accordance with applicable codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Read blueprints accurately and adhere to tight deadlines while delivering quality workmanship.
• Conduct tests on machinery to ensure proper functioning and make repairs as needed.
• Complete documentation for all tasks performed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment regularly.
• Respond to emergency repair requests quickly.

• No prior experience required.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent physical dexterity.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals such as gears and bearings.
• Experience working with hand tools such as wrenches, drill presses, saws and screwdrivers, and basic electrical tools like voltmeters and ammeters.
• Attention to detail and understanding of safety protocols when working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues.
