The HVAC Technician at Alafaq is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait City. The technician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and associated components, including ductwork, controls, and refrigeration equipment. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves coordinating with supervisors and other trades, documenting work performed, following safety and regulatory standards, and providing clear communication to clients or internal stakeholders.

The technician may also support plumbing and general facility maintenance tasks as needed.

• Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess plumbing skills to support installation, repair, and maintenance of piping and related systems.
• Candidates should possess preventive maintenance skills to perform routine inspections, servicing, and system optimization.
• Candidates should possess EPA-related knowledge or equivalent environmental and safety compliance understanding for refrigerants and emissions.
• Candidates should possess electricity skills to work safely with wiring, controls, and electrical components in HVAC systems.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields is beneficial.
• Experience in commercial or residential HVAC service, preferably in a similar on-site role, is beneficial.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety procedures is beneficial.
• Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are beneficial.
