Carpenter Foreman
As a Carpenter Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a construction project. This includes coordinating with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Your primary role will be to lead a team of carpenters and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
You should have previous experience as a carpenter and be able to provide guidance and support to your team. This position is based in Al-Kuwait and is open to Indian nationals with fluent English proficiency. The position is open to Indian nationals who have their own visa in Al-Kuwait, and also to students who are looking for part-time work in this field.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
- Create work schedules for carpenters and assign tasks accordingly
- Ensure that all materials, tools, equipment, and resources are available for the team
- Monitor progress of tasks and provide feedback or assistance when needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Train new team members on safety procedures and proper use of tools
- Communicate any issues or delays with the project manager
- Provide guidance and support to team members when needed
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a carpenter
- Previous experience in a supervisory or foreman role preferred
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools used in carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or technical specifications
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members from different backgrounds
