Job Summary

Carpenter job in Al-Kuwait Kuwait for foreigners. Al-Kuwait is currently seeking a qualified Carpenter with at least two years of experience. The successful candidate should have a good knowledge of using carpentry tools and techniques to build, repair, and install different types of furniture and structures. The successful candidate will be paid a salary of 1200 per month, and the position is open to foreigners.

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Assemble and join materials with nails, screws, staples or adhesives
• Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand tools like saws or chisels
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Follow established safety rules and regulations while performing the work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

• Proven experience as a carpenter for at least two years
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Working knowledge of carpentry techniques & methods of installation and construction
• Knowledge in using electrical & manual equipment & measurement tools (powered saws, hammers etc.)
• Good understanding of basic math concepts & ability to recognize measurements for accuracy
• Ability to work on ladders & scaffolding in high spaces
• Excellent physical condition & strength with the ability to work long hours
• Attention to detail & good problem solving skills
• High school diploma; certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program would be an advantage.
