We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician for our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, calibrating, and repairing electrical instrumentation. This position offers a salary of 1700 per month and we are open to considering foreign applicants.

Job Description

The Instrument Technician is accountable for the operation and maintenance of electronic and other instruments used to measure pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc. The job involves inspecting, testing, calibrating, and repairing electrical instrumentation as well as troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. The technician is also expected to design and develop new instrument systems as needed.

Qualifications & Responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical/electronic instruments such as pressure gauges, transducers, controllers etc.
  • Ability to read schematics and diagrams accurately
  • Experience with AC/DC principles
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Responsibilities
  • Inspecting existing electrical instrumentation systems for accuracy and reliability
  • Testing instruments for calibration accuracy using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters
  • Adjusting settings on instruments as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Troubleshooting instrument malfunctions to determine root cause
  • Designing new industrial control systems within budget constraints
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies related to electronic instruments
  • Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to at all times
