Mechanical Technician

• Perform servicing preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair of high-pressure compressors preferably up to approximately PHONE NUMBER bar
• Carry out repair and maintenance of pneumatic machines and equipment
• Inspect service repair and maintain valves pumps and motors
• Perform maintenance and servicing of rotating equipment
• Carry out inspection servicing maintenance and repair of breathing apparatus and related equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify worn damaged or defective components requiring replacement or repair
• Follow established safety procedures maintenance standards and manufacturer recommendations
• Maintain accurate records of servicing repairs inspections and replaced components
• Support the workshop and field-service team as required

• 2 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and servicing.
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field.
• Relevant manufacturer training or certifications in high-pressure compressors, breathing apparatus, or mechanical equipment will be an advantage.
• Experience servicing high-pressure compressors up to approximately  bar is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of pneumatic systems, pumps, motors, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Experience with breathing apparatus/SCBA servicing is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform repairs independently.
• Good understanding of mechanical tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to work safely in a workshop and field-service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach.
