If you like a mix of diagnostics and hands-on repair work, this could be a good fit. We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join a small team where technicians work on a variety of vehicles and repairs.
About the ShopThe shop has a close-knit team with long-term employees who work together to keep jobs moving. You’ll handle diagnostics, electrical concerns, maintenance, and repairs across Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. The heated and air-conditioned, three-bay shop has an alignment rack and a shop-provided Snap-on ZEUS+ scan tool. Estimates and parts ordering are handled outside the technician role, and a shop hand is typically available to support the team.
Pay& Benefits
- Estimated earning potential of $80,000–$120,000 annually; actual earnings depend on the agreed pay plan and production
- Flat-rate or hybrid compensation, based on the agreed pay plan
- Anticipated flat-rate pay of $50–$60 per flagged hour, if a flat-rate plan is selected

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and engine-performance concerns
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and general repairs
- Complete brake, undercarriage, exhaust, and timing belt work
- Use Tekmetric for digital vehicle inspections
- Work toward a target of at least 40 billed hours per week
- At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Intermediate to advanced diagnostic skills
- Experience with electrical and drivability concerns and a broad range of general repairs
- Personal tools needed to perform the work
Digital vehicle inspection experience is preferred, but training on the shop’s process is available. ASE certifications are a plus, but are not required.
