Depureco Industrial Vacuums Corp is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to support the development and sale of industrial vacuum and extraction solutions, with a focus on centralized vacuum systems, fixed machine-side extraction, and applications involving combustible dust.
The selected candidate will analyze customer technical requirements, recommend suitable system solutions, support preliminary sizing activities, and work closely with the internal team to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing sales opportunities in the industrial vacuum and extraction market.
- Performing technical site visits with customers and prospects.
- Analyzing customer applications and identifying the most suitable technical solutions.
- Supporting the sizing of centralized vacuum systems and fixed machine-side extraction systems.
- Evaluating airflow requirements, pressure losses, pipe diameters, system layouts, and technical configurations.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical and commercial quotations.
- Working closely with customers, engineering, production, and technical departments.
- Supporting industrial applications involving combustible dust and related safety requirements.
- Building and maintaining relationships with industrial customers, OEMs, integrators, and system integrators.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role.
- Knowledge of industrial vacuum systems, centralized extraction systems, and/or fixed extraction systems installed at machine level.
- Understanding of fluid dynamics principles applied to industrial vacuum and extraction systems.
- Ability to evaluate airflow, conveying velocity, pressure losses, pipe sizing, and system layout.
- Familiarity with combustible dust applications.
- Knowledge of NFPA 660 and NFPA 69
. - Ability to read and interpret technical layouts, system drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and customer management skills.
- Consultative sales approach and strong problem-solving skills.
The following will be considered a plus:
- Background in high-vacuum industrial extraction systems.
- Experience in dust collectors, industrial filtration, or dust collection systems.
- AutoCAD drawing skills.
- Experience working with OEMs, industrial integrators, or manufacturing companies.
- Knowledge of components such as filters, cyclones, separators, blowers, piping, valves, explosion protection systems, and isolation systems.
