Position: LMRT or Radiology Technologist (18hrs)

Purpose

Performs radiographic exams to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. Works effectively with patients and their families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

Essential Functions
  • Performs diagnostic X‑ray procedures, including patient positioning, adjusting equipment settings to obtain the best density, detail, and contrast of the area being imaged and determining proper voltage and exposure.
  • Quality checks images once taken.
  • Provides appropriate patient protection following prescribed safety standards.
  • Notifies supervisor of equipment repair needs.
  • Maintains compliance with Texas Medical Board and ARRT educational requirements.
  • Adheres to all company policies, including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct.
  • Maintains regular and dependable attendance.
  • Follows the core competencies set forth by the Company, available for review on ARC SharePoint.
  • Works holiday shift(s) as required by Company policy.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintains work area.
  • Stocks room supplies.
  • Attends required meetings and in‑services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology that meets the requirements for Texas certification of Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT).
  • High school diploma or equivalent for Radiology Technologist positions. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA‑approved school.
  • At least one year of related work experience preferred; experience in digital radiography (CR and/or DR) preferred; familiarity with PACS image retrieval and storage; experience working with all age groups.
Certificates and Licenses
  • Current licensure as a Registered Technologist through the Texas Medical Board.
  • Radiologic Technologist must be in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current AHA‑approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card or within 60 days of hire.

  • Ability to perform all diagnostic radiology procedures.

Work Schedule

Tues 10:00 am‑5:00 pm, Wed 10:00 am‑5:00 pm, Fri 8:30 am‑12:30 pm.
