Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a position in Kyle, Texas.

Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (CCL) in Kyle, Texas. This role provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including assessment, preparation, and positioning. The position also supports conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary, and requires bringing the license on the first day of employment.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date;
  Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Advanced Life Support (ACLS); experience with multiple modalities (Trauma, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular, Vascular); monitored experience with Merge Hemo
• Responsibilities:
  Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab; assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures; perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary; prepare, implement, and document the plan of care; communicate patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures; perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures; set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Additional Information:
  Level 2 Trauma Center with 4 labs; department manages multiple modalities (Trauma, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular, Vascular); must be able to respond in 30 minutes during call shift
