Qualifications and
Required Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with school-based populations preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations following school-based guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state standards
- Communicate effectively with staff and families to coordinate strategies and support
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations for student success
