Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is hiring for a Physical Therapy Assistant job in Kyle, TX, and we’re looking for a PTA who wants hands‑on patient work in a clinic that puts the patient‑to‑PTA relationship first. You’ll work closely with our physical therapists to carry out individualized treatment plans, and your day‑to‑day work directly shapes patient outcomes, satisfaction, and recovery.
If you enjoy helping people move better and recover faster within a supportive, team‑focused clinic, this role gives you the room to do exactly that.
Every member of the Peak team lives right here in Hays County, and that shows in how the clinic operates: greeting each patient as a valued individual, treating them with the same care you’d want for someone you love, and staying committed to bringing hope and recovery to the community. The clinic’s vision carries that same standard into daily practice — a safe, welcoming environment for patients and visitors, honesty and integrity in every interaction, and treatment techniques grounded in reducing pain and restoring function for each patient’s specific needs.
Giving back to Hays County isn’t an afterthought here; it’s built into why the clinic exists.
Education matters here too, for patients and staff alike. Patients are taught about their own recovery in a way that’s informative and genuinely engaging, and as a PTA you’ll be part of delivering the kind of exceptional, individualized care that produces real, lasting results for the people you treat — not just checking boxes on a treatment plan.
A Team That Invests in YouAs a PTA here, the patient‑to‑PTA relationship comes first, and performance and productivity are recognized and rewarded rather than taken for granted. You’ll be part of a collaborative, respectful team, supported by efficient documentation and administrative systems that keep your day focused on patients instead of paperwork. Peak also invests in your growth through ongoing training, mentorship, and continuing education credits, giving you a real path to build your skills and advance over time rather than staying in the same place year after year.
Day to day, you’ll guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities, apply modalities like heat, cold, and ultrasound as directed, and document progress so your supervising PT always has a clear picture of where each patient stands. You’ll also be trusted to recommend adjustments to a treatment plan when a patient’s progress, safety, or comfort calls for it — this is a role built on clinical judgment, not just following a checklist.
