Job Title: Property Manager

- Manage day-to-day operations, resident satisfaction, retention, full resident lifecycle activities.
- Oversee lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management, property P&L, and marketing.
- Provide excellent customer service and client expectations.
- Recruit, interview, give corrective feedback, and hire.
- Create a climate with shared vision, coaching, and development.
- Execute strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
- Understand operations guidelines within property management agreement.
- Respond to resident complaints, liaison to corporate office regarding common area maintenance and enforcement of landlord rules.
- Maintain professional knowledge via workshops and publications.
- Organize and implement site natural disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
- Manage safety records, property loss claims, and risk management initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two to three years of property management experience required.
- One to two years of direct management experience required.
- Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
- Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
- Knowledge of preferred.
- Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.
- Very strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environment with urgency.
- Ability to relay technical concerns with detail, quickly and accurately.
- Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
- Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax, printer, copier, key track system).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
