Schedule/Hours:

• 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Call required:
  One weekend per month (approximately 7 days monthly)

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently deliver nursing care by assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient needs using ANA standards.
• Address complex patient and family concerns-psychological, emotional, cultural, and social-tailoring interventions appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided.
• Provide education to patients and families; identify and leverage relevant resources.
• Make appropriate care assignments and delegate tasks as needed to balance the clinical workload.

Qualifications:

• TX RN license or compact licensure
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience preferred
