M-F; 8am – 6pm
Schedule: PRN; minimum 1-2 shifts per week
This role requires associates to work from the posted location full-time, ensuring consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement.
Registered Nurse (PRN)Responsible for the administration of all ordered therapies.
Responsibilities- Perform duties within the nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies, INS standards, and approved protocols.
- Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy.
- Complete admission processes as directed by the Center Director.
- Perform physical assessments on each patient as warranted and for new consults as required by diagnosis.
- Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessments as needed.
- Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
- Report significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on any identified issues.
- Evaluate patients’ responses to therapy and document findings in the medical record.
- Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans.
- Ensure all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
- Adhere to applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- ASN or ADN with at least 2 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
- Multi-state licensure required if services are provided in multiple states.
- Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or waiver for Paragon and Carelon Health business units.
- BSN preferred.
- Experience with IVs, PICC, peripheral lines, and medication mixing.
- Titration experience.
- Medical insurance terminology knowledge.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
