Registered Nurse; PRN

Location: Kyle, TX – 844 Kohlers Crossing, Suite 230

Hours:

M-F; 8am – 6pm

Schedule: PRN; minimum 1-2 shifts per week

This role requires associates to work from the posted location full-time, ensuring consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement.

Responsible for the administration of all ordered therapies.

• Perform duties within the nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies, INS standards, and approved protocols.
• Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy.
• Complete admission processes as directed by the Center Director.
• Perform physical assessments on each patient as warranted and for new consults as required by diagnosis.
• Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessments as needed.
• Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Report significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on any identified issues.
• Evaluate patients’ responses to therapy and document findings in the medical record.
• Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans.
• Ensure all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
• Adhere to applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• ASN or ADN with at least 2 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Multi-state licensure required if services are provided in multiple states.
• Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or waiver for Paragon and Carelon Health business units.

• BSN preferred.
• Experience with IVs, PICC, peripheral lines, and medication mixing.
• Titration experience.
• Medical insurance terminology knowledge.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
