Schedule:
PRN; minimum 1-2 shifts per week
This role requires associates to work from the posted location full-time, enabling consistent face‑to‑face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
Responsibilities- Perform duties within the nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies, INS standards of practice, and approved protocols.
- Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders and facility protocols.
- Complete admission process as directed by Center Director.
- Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults.
- Refer to the NP on duty for complete assessment as needed.
- Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
- Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on any identified problems.
- Evaluate the patient’s response to therapy and document findings.
- Educate patients and/or family regarding the therapy plan.
- Ensure medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment.
- Adhere to all applicable state, local, and federal laws, including maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA.
- ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state; multi‑state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
- Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination (or signed waiver) for Paragon and Carelon Health business unit.
- BSN preferred.
- Experience with IVs, ports, PICC, and peripheral lines.
- Medication mixing and titration experience.
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
- Exceptional time‑management skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
