Preconstruction Business Development Manager – Architectural Millwork & Casework

Are you passionate about construction, relationship building, and creating winning project opportunities?

We are a growing commercial architectural woodworking company specializing in custom casework, millwork, wall paneling, and specialty wood products for healthcare, education, corporate interiors, hospitality, and commercial construction projects throughout Texas.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, and owners.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Lead project pursuits from concept through contract award.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams.
  • Position the company as the partner of choice for architectural millwork and casework.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in architectural millwork, casework, commercial construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and estimating processes.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to generate and close business opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, estimating, project management, or preconstruction experience.
  • Strong understanding of architectural millwork, casework, construction documents, CSI specifications, and bid processes.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling projects valued from $250K–$5M.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Building Connected, Construct Connect, and ERP systems.
