The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving growth by engaging prospective and existing distributors to promote and sell technical, engineered products. This role combines consultative selling with a strong understanding of product capabilities to identify distributor needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and support the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through order fulfillment. The Inside Sales Representative collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams, leverages market and product knowledge to develop targeted sales opportunities, and consistently works to strengthen distributor relationships while contributing to the achievement of business development and revenue goals.
Responsibilities- Drive distributor engagement and revenue growth by executing short and long‑term sales strategies for compressed air filtration systems.
- Align daily sales activities with corporate objectives while adapting to changing distributor requirements, application conditions, and market dynamics.
- Translate market and application insights into targeted action plans through close coordination with cross‑functional engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Develop and qualify distributor‑led end‑user opportunities by applying product performance knowledge and application engineering principles.
- Strengthen distributor relationships through responsive technical support, solution guidance, and proactive opportunity development.
- Enhance channel capability by identifying high‑potential partners and equipping them with technical training, tools, and resources needed to meet growth targets.
- Track sales activity, update distributor opportunity pipelines, and maintain accurate performance data within CRM systems to support forecasting and data‑driven decision making.
- 3+ years of experience managing distributor or channel partner relationships in an industrial or technical product environment.
- High school diploma required.
- Experience supporting the sale of technical or engineered products, including interpreting basic performance data, specifications, or application requirements.
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective interpersonal collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with complex CRMs, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong listening, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Familiarity with regulated product environments and government bidding process.
