ARS/Rescue Rooter is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to perform residential and light commercial service, repair, and installation. You'll diagnose heating and cooling issues, recommend solutions, perform maintenance, and complete replacements while following strict safety and quality standards. Work closely with customers, explain findings, and provide options with integrity. ARS/Rescue Rooter offers year-round, stable work, strong technical training, and clear advancement paths into lead and supervisory roles within a national network dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform HVAC equipment installations, change-outs, and start-ups
- Conduct preventive maintenance and tune-ups on heating and cooling systems
- Handle and charge refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC components
- Explain findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to customers
- Complete work orders, documentation, and inventory usage accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
- Collaborate with dispatch and teammates to meet schedule commitments
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs
Required Skills
- HVAC system diagnostics

- Reading blueprints and wiring diagrams
