Mathnasium is looking for an Assistant Center Director to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students while simultaneously focusing on the sales component of our business. The ideal candidate is sales-oriented, detail-oriented, exudes a positive demeanor, enthusiastic, motivated, and approachable. They are passionate about helping students learn math and achieve educational success. This is an in-person part-time role with flexible hours up to 35 hours and will report directly to directors.

Salary: $20 - $25

Schedule (Prefer 30-35 hours of work. Not required to work all hours):

• Mon–Fri: 2 PM–7 PM
• Sat 9 AM--1PM or Sun: 2 PM–5 PM

You Will:

• Conduct free assessments for prospective students/families
• Convert free assessments into paying customers
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Cultivate a clean, nurturing, passionate and fun environment for our families and staff by providing a white-glove customer experience
• Lead and inspire employees to adopt workplace culture
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Oversee students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

You Bring:

• Passion for math and exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Exceptional customer, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Willingness to develop leadership abilities
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• Proficiency in computer skills
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium. Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
