Citizens State Bank is searching for a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our La Crosse office. If you’re eager to build your accounting skills and grow with a supportive, high-performing team, we’re ready to welcome you aboard!

In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the Bank’s financial health through essential accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounts payable and performing daily/monthly reconciliations.
• Preparing detailed reports for management, committees, and board presentations.
• Assisting the Accounting Manager with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Maintaining fixed assets and depreciation schedules to ensure accurate records.
• Handling general ledger entries and reconciliations, ensuring compliance and precision.
• Balancing investments and monitoring key accounts with meticulous attention to detail.

• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in every task.
• Equipped with strong analytical and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
• A proactive problem-solver who thrives under deadlines.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A minimum two-year degree in accounting.
• Prior accounting experience is preferred.
