Salary: $55,000–$60,000, depending on experience

At Rivertown Dental, we're looking for an Accountant who wants to grow beyond routine accounting work. You'll partner directly with our Senior Director of Finance, contribute to meaningful projects, improve accounting processes, and help build the finance function of a growing healthcare organization.

• Administer and help optimize Quick Books Online.
• Prepare deposit entries and deposit reconciliations.
• Support the general ledger and month-end close process (cash basis).
• Prepare location-level financial reports and management reporting.
• Prepare sales and use tax filings.
• Maintain vendor records and accounting system integrity.
• Partner on accounting process improvements and internal controls.
• Support financial compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation.
• Serve as an internal accounting resource while partnering with the Senior Director of Finance on more complex accounting matters.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience using Quick Books Online or a comparable accounting system.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial statements, bank reconciliations, sales and use tax, and month-end accounting processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a multi-location healthcare, dental, or professional-services environment.
• Strong Quick Books Online proficiency.
