We are looking for a talented individual to join as a Market Outreach Specialist. You will be responsible for developing increased awareness and adoption of targeted energy‑efficient technologies, strategic market development, customer satisfaction, and delivering on client goals related to outreach activity and energy savings. You will adhere to designated program budgets and allocated resources.
Location RequirementThe role requires you to be based in the Madison, WI area.
Responsibilities- Recruit, train, educate and develop relationships with contractors and other trade allies to encourage effective marketing of programs.
- Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting customers and trade allies.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business customer base.
- Integrate program offerings into customer operations to improve customer service and satisfaction.
- Perform event planning, coordination and presentations of programs.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and contractors to enhance program satisfaction.
- Work in cooperation with other energy‑efficiency programs to move projects forward and follow up on leads.
- Lead research of the markets; accumulate data on businesses and identify key allies to be targeted on behalf of the programs.
- Build a base of registered trade allies specific to the specified programs.
- Identify improvement barriers and report information to the Program Manager.
- Ensure continuous improvement of operations.
- Prepare robust weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports and track progress toward program goals.
- 2–4 years of relative industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Base salary range: $52,000.00 – $74,400.00 USD. Target compensation is $57,000.00 USD. Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and experience, and certain degrees and certifications.
