Position SummaryThe Contract Specialist is responsible for providing a broad range of contracting and related services for Emplify Health. This position is responsible for managing the preparation, compliance, development, review, maintenance and changes of contractual arrangements, to include all agreements referred to the department. Collects internal data and information to analyze, evaluate and facilitate administrative follow-up to the performance, operational, and delivery aspects of contracts.
Participates in the negotiation process to close business, while managing exposure to risks inherent with all contract documents as requested by next-level leader.
- Coordinate and analyze contracts to assess financial and administrative impact, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Review, negotiate, and implement contracts, including audit participation, reporting, and cross-departmental problem-solving.
- Lead and train team members in contract data entry processes; collaborate with IS to develop reports and workflows.
- Monitor contract performance using software tools and internal feedback to ensure service quality.
- Support senior leadership in creating and maintaining service contracts for Emplify Health.
- Manage contract renewals and resolve issues, ensuring timely, compliant, and effective agreements.
- Streamline contracting processes and facilitate communication across departments to ensure proper implementation.
- Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Legal or Finance or Healthcare Administration or a health related field
- Required:
2-4 years experience in managed care, business, legal studies, health or related field - Desired: 6 months experience in a contract management environment.
