Store Engineering Drafting and Designer

Kwik Trip is seeking a Store Engineering Drafting and Designer 2 to support the planning, design, permitting, and construction of new stores, remodels, acquisitions, and capital improvement projects. In this role, you will create Revit and CAD drawings, floor plans, and visual renderings (2d and 3d) while collaborating with project teams and external design consultants to bring store development projects to life.

What You'll Do

  • Create and modify Revit and CAD drawings to support construction and store development projects.
  • Develop site plans, landscape plans, sign plans, and construction drawings.
  • Draft floor plans for remodels, equipment installations, bathroom renovations, and cooler/freezer additions.
  • Prepare canopy, signage, and gasoline piping plans.
  • Create color renderings and illustrations for city meetings and permit approval processes.
  • Collaborate with consultant designers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
  • Maintain and organize drawing libraries, files, and project documentation.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4-6 years of experience creating CAD drawings within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proficiency with Sketchup.
  • Experience using Adobe applications to create illustrations and renderings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
  • Knowledge of building design, construction practices, site layout, landscaping, and permitting processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret building, sign, petroleum, city, state, and federal codes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday.
