Pulmonary - General and Sleep Medicine Opening in Wisconsin-Located in La Crousse, WI-Full Time & Permanent Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join an established and collegial department. You may expect a busy practice in a physician-led organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Responsibilities:
- Outpatient and inpatient
- Outpatient schedule includes Monday - Friday, day hours
- Inpatient coverage is minimal at this time but may expand
- The practice provides consults and management for a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep related disorders
- Pulmonary specific responsibilities include clinic-based visits, hospital consults and pulmonary procedures (diagnostic bronchoscopy and basic pleural procedures)
- Sleep specific responsibilities include management of sleep related breathing disorders and interpretation of overnight oximetry
- If candidate has additional sleep training, other opportunities include polysomnogram interpretation, management of sleep behavior disorders, parasomnias, insomnia and restless legs Critical Care Medicine Responsibilities:
- Include primary management of critically ill medical and surgical patients in a busy 12 bed ICU
- Education opportunities also available with rotating Family Medicine Residents License or Certification:
- Pulmonary and critical care credentials required
- Strong preference for Sleep Medicine training
- Flexibility in time allocation across patient care practices will be considered depending on interest and skill sets Highlights of opportunity include:
