Overview
Providence Academy, an independent Pre-K through Grade 12 private, Catholic, classical academy located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Upper School Teacher interested in Math, Literature, or History for the school year.
Qualified applicants must be practicing Roman Catholic and have a love and passion for teaching children.
ResponsibilitiesThe Upper School Teacher will:
- Teach Upper School courses in Math, Literature, or History (as available).
- Adapt curriculum for children with different learning skills.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills; be able to multitask; and work as a positive, contributing team member with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Bachelor s degree in any subject/teacher related field
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience in Latin is a plus
