Engineering Design & Technologists, Manufacturing Engineer
Designer II is responsible for producing visually stunning 3D and 2D graphics for control projects. They support field offices and work under a Lead Digital Designer. This role may involve collaboration with a Senior Digital Designer on a dynamic sub team.
Location- On‑site (5 days a week) with a flexible option on Fridays.
- Produce designs and documentation using computer design and product life‑cycle management systems.
- Document parts and bills of materials.
- Develop a thorough understanding of design‑and‑drafting standard practices, methods, and processes.
- Interpret oral engineering instructions and written procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches.
- Lead small segments of large projects and be responsible for completing assignments.
- Exercise sound judgment in identifying potential design problems and correcting own errors.
- Maintain competency level on computer‑aided graphic systems and other applications through company training.
- Demonstrate customer‑driven, innovative, and quality‑minded performance.
- Develop and exercise strong communication skills.
- Adhere to company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Travel to support product launches or train personnel as required.
- Receive generalized information and instruction from engineers or senior staff; all work reviewed for accuracy by engineering or senior department members.
- 4+ years of experience with computer‑aided graphic solutions (or an associate’s degree in a related field).
- Proficiency in Solid Works, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer CAD, and AutoCAD.
Annual Base Salary Range: $49,400.00 - $69,755.00 (rates may vary by seniority, merit, location, education, experience, travel, and union designation).
