Purpose:

Provides (technical) support and assistance - in the preparation and carrying out of original or adaptations to designs and design changes. Prepares standard sketches and completes detail and layout drawings (includes BOM). Makes layouts of components, calculates stack-up of detail components, and may prepare major cost studies consisting of new details and/or marked prints and all supporting documentation. Works as an individual contributor role under supervision.

** plays a key role in the design and documentation of electrical systems for Trane Water-Cooled and Air-Cooled Chiller products.  This position applies electrical design knowledge and CAD tools to develop schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts and supporting documentation for new product development, product updates and manufacturing support.  Reporting to a Lead Designer, this role may also work within a collaborative team…
