Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Finance Business Partner to lead the development and delivery of financial solutions focused on pharmacy finance. This role serves as a key liaison and trusted business partner to internal stakeholders, empowering financially sound planning and decision‑making through data‑driven insights and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) tools. The Director will lead a team of finance professionals dedicated to supporting business units in achieving their strategic and financial goals.

Job Duties / Major Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with operations leaders to understand needs and challenges, enabling rapid service improvements through continuous feedback
  • Analyze financial trends and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, utilization, reduce costs, and increase revenue to enhance margins
  • Prepare customized financial statements and analyses to support budget requests and cost reduction strategies; communicate findings effectively to leadership
  • Monitor leading indicators to identify risks and performance gaps, driving corrective actions or alternative approaches
  • Develop and maintain productivity targets and provide recommendations to optimize labor staffing schedules
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team of finance business partners, fostering continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making
  • Ensure financial performance KPIs are met and advise on corrective actions as needed
  • Develop financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support strategic planning
  • Champion process improvement initiatives to optimize financial operations and reporting
  • Serve as a key liaison between finance and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Stay current on industry trends, reimbursement changes, regulatory developments, and best practices in pharmacy finance
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
  • Certification/Registration/Licensure: CPA or CMA (Preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related healthcare field, including 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience (Required);
    Preferred: 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related healthcare field, with 5 years of pertinent leadership experience and experience partnering with key stakeholders
