- Build relationships with customers through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual engagement
- Assess and attend to customers' banking needs
- Obtain and process customer and account information
- Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services
- Recommend solutions based on customers' goals and needs
- Conduct proactive outreach and follow-up with clients
- Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, services, and digital offerings
- Greet clients and process basic transactions
- Collaborate with branch team members and partners
- Open consumer and business accounts
- Complete service requests and submit credit applications
- Educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services
- Leverage resources and technologies to optimize client experience and operational accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has less than four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Must obtain and maintain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Subject to criminal background and credit checks
- Ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to identify customers' needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
- Basic proficiency in making appropriate customer recommendations
- Financial services industry experience preferred
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, procedures, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies
- Must satisfy applicable employment eligibility verification and background-check requirements
Demonstrates strong customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships through proactive engagement. Proficient in educating clients on banking products and services while leveraging digital technologies to enhance the customer experience.
