Kwik Trip is seeking a Scrum Master Resource Analyst to support our IT Security teams. In this role, you will guide Agile development practices, facilitate Scrum events, support sprint execution, and assist with resource planning across software and application projects. This position plays an important role in enabling efficient Agile project delivery and improving team performance.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as Scrum Master for Application Service Delivery teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies to deliver software solutions.
- Lead sprint planning, daily standups, and Agile events to keep teams aligned with sprint goals and deliverables.
- Help teams establish realistic sprint commitments and maintain accountability throughout each sprint.
- Remove obstacles, resolve blockers, and protect teams from distractions to maintain sprint momentum.
- Partner with product owners (BA/BSS) to review, refine, and prioritize backlogs and ensure project requirements are clearly documented.
- Collaborate with supervisors and IT leadership on short‑and long‑term resource planning for IT initiatives.
- 1-3 years of experience with Agile principles, Scrum methodology, application design or programming, and project management fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles, including sprints, user stories, standups, and backlog management.
- Hands‑on SQL experience and understanding of application architecture and design practices.
- Understanding of web technologies and terminology.
- Knowledge of project management concepts and software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Project.
- Experience with integration and data transfer processes such as FTP, SFTP, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, and stored procedures.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Skill in interviewing and gathering insights from customers on usability, functionality, and system needs.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage workload in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
Monday – Friday. This position will be onsite, with hybrid flexibility available after a performance and training review.
