AWS is looking for a database specialist Solutions Architect to assist public sector organizations in transitioning their essential data operations to the cloud. In this position, you will act as a reliable technical consultant for State & Local Government, Education, and emerging technology clients as they navigate complex database migration and modernization projects. This role requires a blend of extensive technical knowledge in both relational and non-relational database systems and strong customer interaction skills.

• Serve as a key technical advisor for customers in the public sector, guiding them through database transformation initiatives.
• Utilize your expertise in database technologies to assist clients in optimizing their data workloads in cloud environments.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in database architecture and design.
• Proficiency in both relational and non-relational database technologies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS services.

• Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
• Experience in the public sector or educational institutions.
